SENTAfrica is a registered charity in the UK. The primary purpose of SENTAfrica is to fund the construction of a local non-governmental organisation (NGO) e Malawi. This NGO is legally registered in Malawi under the name of Livingway Education. The construction phase will include setting up two separate income streams (isivakashi-indlu kanye nesando-isigayo) so that funding local community development can be made from the resources of Livingway Education.
The projects Livingway Education will be carrying out will depend on the success of the two income generating projects. The main idea will be to carry out skill-sharing exercises in agriculture, health and education. Individuals with skills, lwati nemakhono abo kungase kutholakale uzobe sezempi ukuba adlule lokho abaziyo ukuthi kulabo ababezozuza emphakathini.
Ngonyaka wokuqala wokusebenza, LIVINGWAY IMFUNDO kuphela 20% ka kunciphise nezindleko zayo. In the second year that rose to 60%. We are expecting that this will rise again in the year 2018-2019. There are still financial challenges to face. The installation of electricity could cost up to £10,000 and LIVINGWAY EDUCATION needs to find around £1000 to pay the shipping costs of tools and equipment early in 2020.
