Livingway Edukazzjoni (KIRI)
Livingway Edukazzjoni (KIRI) huwa l Non Governattiva (NGO) set up by SENTAfrica to become an example of self-sustaining community development. It is working with a local community close to Lake Malawi just a few kilometres from Chipoka.
The purpose of LWE is to help people help themselves. Local people with skills will be invited to share those skills with others who have need of them. Education is for all – mhux biss iż-żgħażagħ.
This will involve many different people. Perhaps teachers with many years of experience will be invited to share their experience with their younger or less experienced colleagues. Health professionals will be invited to run seminars on health and hygiene with those for may benefit. Agricultural specialists and local farmers who are doing well will be invited to share what makes them successful with others who wish to increase their yields. Those who lead in these seminars will be paid for doing so.
